Happy New Year

Image Hello, the Kpq3-crew wishes you all a successful and happy new year, with some screenshots of a base for a new Kpq3-map. The screenshots below show a relatively raw conversion of Matthew Breit's singleplayer map Strombine, which was made for Quake4. You can check out his website here. The style of his map fits KingpinQ3 very well and I'll see what i can do to make it a good multiplayer map. Many thanks to Matthew Breit for his permission !

Parallax mapping in KingpinQ3

Image Hello, good news today. KingpinQ3 graphics have been pimped significantly. I implemented parallax mapping to the KingpinQ3 engine, which results in a lot more detailed graphics by virtually displacing pixels of a texture. The pictures below show some screenshots half with parallax mapping and half without.
